THE CALCULATION
How weight-adjusted contribution is calculated
We assess points with a mild adjustment for account size, using registration weight. Doubling the weight requires about 19% more points to earn the same score.
Per event: index = 100 × (points / weight^0.25) / the event baseline. The exponent 0.25 means the fourth root of weight.
Event baseline = total points / the sum of weight^0.25 across participants. Only players with positive points and known positive registration weight are included.
100 is the event baseline. An index of 150 means a result 50% above that baseline under this formula.
The overview uses the arithmetic mean of indices across selected events in which the player scored points. Non-participation currently does not lower the average.
Ranks within Hots are determined by points. Weight-adjusted contribution is a trial measure of results adjusted for account size. It does not directly measure reinforcements, time in game or help to the alliance.
